I hope all of you are feeling great and I applaud you all for trudging forward here.  Please feel free to post any comments or questions hear.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there.

  1. Hi Cindy,

Detox is going really well, I love love your receipies! Thank you for your hard work in putting together this detox. I also find myself naturally drinking a ton more water. I miss the ritual habit of my coffee, but I don't miss it like I thought I would. My eyes got really red and puffy first day of shake but seem to have healed. The shake is great tasting by self, smooth and easy to drink. Is there something we can take when it's finished ?

    1. Jenette,

Thank you for your post here and I'm sorry that I did not get back to you sooner. It's so very nice to have you share about drinking more water and how the rituals that we think we are so attached to, we find that the attachment is not so strong. It's always nice to find out about ourselves and this detox allows for that to happen. Great job!!! And thank you for supporting Julie.

  2. Hi Cindy,
I think this program is going great and very easy to follow. I missed the start of no animal protein on Day 6 (Monday) and had a bit of turkey while on a 17 hour field trip to Sacramento with my 9 year old's class. Other than that, I been able to follow it with ease. Beginning last night and continuing through today, I have a headache again. I have chia seeds in my water and have eaten my handfuls of almonds but I still have a head ache. I just finished lunch of brown rice and two types of beans with green chilis and the head ache is still there...so just wondering if you have any ideas. It showed up when I started the two shales daily. Thanks! Julie

  3. Julie... I am a day behind you on the detox, and I too got the head ache. I was told to drink a lot of water and deep breath it out. Hope yours is better.

  4. Thanks Jenette -

I have not heard from Cindy. Tomorrow is the last day. Water did not help the headache. I got another one on Saturday and a bit of tuna seemed to help with the water - I think it is all the stuff clearing out. Have felt good yesterday and today. Cindy -- Can we just keep going with a shake a day even past the 14 days? Is there any harm in continuing to do them until the powder is all used up? They are good and filling. Thanks, Julie

  5. Yes Julie! Many people do continue the shakes once a day for convenience and they feel a difference when on them.
And I am so sorry for not getting back to you sooner! I applaud you for keeping with it even with the headaches and foraging ahead as you have done. I do agree with you that it was probably due to all of the stuff clearing out.

I will see you Wednesday at 5:30 for the wrap up and some yummy vittles too :-)!
    Cindy
